Christopher Robin
A heartwarming and imaginative tale, Disney's Christopher Robin is the live-action adventure based on the beloved characters from Winnie the Pooh. This all-new story finds Christopher Robin, now a grown man living in London, having lost his way. When he reunites with his old friends Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Piglet - along with their new friend Eeyore - they set off on a grand adventure to help Christopher Robin find his way home. But it's more than just Christopher who needs help; his very existence has thrown everyone into chaos. The weight of being Pooh Bear has made Tigger an angry, lazy shadow of himself and Pooh can't get any honey because no one can remember how to be brave like Eeyore anymore. As for Piglet... well, he seems mostly OK as long as someone remembers that not everything gets better by simply wishing it so.
Skyscraper
Dwayne Johnson stars as a former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran who now assesses security for skyscrapers. On assignment in China, he is framed for setting the world's tallest building ablaze and must find those responsible to clear his name before a terrorist attack brings the towering inferno crashing down on everyone inside. Crazy Rich Asians
The Crazy Rich Asians movie is about the lives of wealthy Chinese families living in Singapore. It's based on a bestselling novel and is the first major Hollywood movie with an all-Asian cast since The Joy Luck Club back in 1993.
It's been a long time since Hollywood has made a film with an all-Asian cast, but this one looks like it will be worth the wait. With Constance Wu from Fresh Off the Boat playing Rachel Chu, we are sure that this movie will be more than worth watching! It's coming out August 17th so mark your calendars for what might just become your new favorite summer movie!
